The Sabian B8 series is a very popular cymbal line up for the beginner drummer who doesn’t want to spend a lot and get his or her drum set outfitted. Most drum sets don’t come with any cymbals so there can be a lot of additional cost to get the entire drum set ready for playing. Thanks to Sabian creating the B8 line and this cymbal pack, the beginner drummer can get a fairly decent set up for cheap. The price you pay for this whole cymbal pack is around the price of a single cymbal on pricier models. This would make a great present for a drummer who is receiving a new drum set as a gift. Gift idea for the holidays. Ok, So these probably aren’t the highest quality of drumsticks, but hey, they’re only a little over 3 bones per pair…Great drum gift idea or stocking stuffer for the beginner drummer. I’ve owned some cheaper drumsticks in the past that have performed, actually, pretty well in the past. It doesn’t hurt the pocket book as much when you break one, either. I would stay away from the nylon tip type. Get the wood tips…It’s a good way to check out different stick sizes as well without committing too much. This would make for a good present to any deserving drummer.

Cool Kit by Evans drum head company. I would think this would make for a nice present bundled up into a gift pack. Includes a durable reverse dot head. I’ve used this head before and it held up pretty well. Gives a nice controlled sound. It’s nice that it includes everything to freshen up your snare drums sound so you can do an “overhaul” all at once. It’s Evans, which is synonymous with quality.
