Solid feeling hi-hat stand with two legs to accommodate double bass drum pedals. The price isn’t bad on this stand either. DW makes high quality hardware and drum gear. I personally own a DW hi-hat stand and it’s taken all the abuse I can dish out on it and it still feels sturdy, is quiet and smooth in action. You can’t go wrong this stand…

The Sabian B8 series is a very popular cymbal line up for the beginner drummer who doesn’t want to spend a lot and get his or her drum set outfitted. Most drum sets don’t come with any cymbals so there can be a lot of additional cost to get the entire drum set ready for playing. Thanks to Sabian creating the B8 line and this cymbal pack, the beginner drummer can get a fairly decent set up for cheap. The price you pay for this whole cymbal pack is around the price of a single cymbal on pricier models. This would make a great present for a drummer who is receiving a new drum set as a gift. Great gift idea…

Pearl Cymbal stands are quality built stands. Adjusters are well built and give postive lock and, they give you a lot of adjustment angles. The double braced legs hold the cymbal steady with the heaviest of hits. I personally use Pearl cymbal stands with my set mixed with DW hardware. Peal has spent a lot of development time to ensure their stands are rigid, yet portable and to hold up the rigors of gigging drummers. I personally, highly recommend Pearl hardware. It’s never let me down.

Sabian HHX Evolution Ride Cymbal
Crisp attack and warm undertones combine in a shimmering ride with crash capability. 20″ diameter. Great for Fusion, Jazz or Rock drumming. Gives a crisp sound.

Rating:

I personally use this cymbal mainly for fusion and jazz drumming. Sabian makes great cymbals and when they paired up with Dave Weckl on this series they really made a winner. The entire line has a brilliant finish and beautiful tones. The bell has a nice crisp ring to it which almost sounds like an icebell when hit giving the drummer a nice tone for those heavier grooves.
