Great intermediate bass drum pedal from Pearl that is standard equipment on Pearl’s Export Series drumsets. The beater is heavy duty and adjustable for great action. Has a single chain for drive and the cam is very responsive. It follows the eliminator styling. Great price point for those who don’t want to spend a lot.

Yamaha quality meets Yamaha engineering. This is one smooth double bass pedal. Chain drive=smooth operation. Pedal has a very minimalistic design and seems very solid. Adjustable beaters give you fine tuning ability to get the action in the pedal that you want to achieve. Heel area includes extruded bars to keep the heel firmly in place.

DW 7002PT Double Bass Drum Pedal
The DW 7002PT Double Bass Drum Pedal offers increased stability with the upgraded double-chain turbo (centered cam) drive systems. The slotted stroke adjustment allows infinite beater angle adjustment and the ball-bearing rocker reduces friction. The dual adjustable toe clamp can be fine-tuned for any bass drum counter-hoop width. Includes a 2-way 101 beater.

Solid feeling pedal that is at a cheaper price point in the DW bass drum pedal line up. DW makes great equipment. It’s high quality stuff. Something to watch for is a little squeaking after a couple of months of use, but that is fixed by spraying the pedal in key moving areas a little WD-40. Beaters are just a little heavy, but response is great. Be sure to tighten the pedal every now and again with your drum key. I do this every now and then with my personal kick pedals. Over all, this is a great double bass drum pedal…if kicking out chops with speed is your thing, this pedal is sure to please.
