I own a pair of these brushes (Probably an older style of this version) that have lasted over 15 years. Pro-Mark brushes are the standard, in my opinion, when it comes to drum brushes. What’s cool is the telescopic handle protects the wires when putting them in your stick bag. Just bring the brushes back inside with one smooth motion. I normally play with one brush fully extended for sweeping and the other brush brought in a little bit, which gives a slightly stiffer brush, for accenting and rim bouncing. A very versatile brush. The metal rings at the end of the telescopic handle are perfect for pinging and scraping the cymbal when needed. I usually keep a set of Pro-Mark Telescopic Brushes and hybrid brush/stick brushes in my jazz stick arsenal.

Joey Jordison puts everything into his fiery drumming performances, and has also literally put himself into these autograph sticks—the sticks are imprinted with Joey s signature in ink mixed with his own blood!Made of American Hickory, these TX515W Joey Jordison Autograph Series sticks are based on the popular 777 design but slightly shorter in length. The round wood tip provides exceptional articulation, power and consistency. The diameter is the same as the company’s best-selling 5A, so it is a practical stick as well, that should enjoy universal appeal.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Light weight and durability give these Joey Jordison Autograph Series drumsticks a five star rating. They bear the Pro-Mark brand name which is a quality drumstick producer. They rebound nicely and can be played in various genres of drumming…not only hard rock. Will they make you sound like Joey Jordison?…Well, that’s going to take some work, but you’ll sure look good sporting these drumsticks…They’re even Printed with Joey’s signature—in his own blood! Wow…
I have used this bag for over 20 years…That’s how old this style is. This is one of the cheapest stick bags out there, but in my opinion, one of the best. It will hold a ton of sticks, mallets, brushes, drum keys, etc. in it. It’s super durable. They don’t seem to wear out! What’s cool is the strings enable you to tie the drumstick bag onto a floor tom for example and have the bag wide open for easy access to the sticks. I love this bag…it’s iconic in the drum stick bag world.
Gift idea for the holidays. Ok, So these probably aren’t the highest quality of drumsticks, but hey, they’re only a little over 3 bones per pair…Great drum gift idea or stocking stuffer for the beginner drummer. I’ve owned some cheaper drumsticks in the past that have performed, actually, pretty well in the past. It doesn’t hurt the pocket book as much when you break one, either. I would stay away from the nylon tip type. Get the wood tips…It’s a good way to check out different stick sizes as well without committing too much. This would make for a good present to any deserving drummer.

Steve and Vic have solved the age-old problem of wire brushes snagging on new coated drumheads by slightly angling the wires in the top 3/4" of the playing end. The wires glide across the head, allowing a smoother sweep and a velvet swish sound. The angled wires also increase surface contact to generate increased volume.

Steve Gadd is a master drummer who has mastered the backbeat groove. I haven’t had personal experience with this set of wire brushes, but I have had and currently own other Vic Firth drum brushes and their quality is top notch and second to none. The telescopic feature is great when putting the brushes into a drumstick bag. Protect the brushes at all cost to keep your playing sweeping sounds smooth.
Great deal for some durable drumsticks. They perform just like other Vic Firth sticks, but have a cool black paintjob with the Vic Firth logo. Vic Firth is top quality and have been making drumsticks for quite a while. The sticks are available in many different styles for different styles of drumming.
Good looking stick. Advanced in design, but pricey. I would have given it a better rating if the price were a little lower and durability a little higher. I imagine for drummers who play soft, these sticks will last quite a long time, but if you’re a hard hitter, don’t expect them to perform “miracles,” as far as the strength factor, from what reviewers are saying, anyway. They can break…

Balanced and carefully crafted using hand-selected white oak. Grown in the mountainous regions of Japan, this particular species of oak is a harder wood than hickory and will take more wear, tear, and punishment. It resists chipping and wearing soft. Made with Pro-Mark's exclusive Millennium II manufacturing process, each stick is hand-finished and hand-inspected. The result is a strength and durability no other stick can match.

Pro Mark makes great sticks. They have years of experience and are always on the cutting edge of design. These sticks are long lasting , have a great feel, are balanced well and come in a wide, wide selection of different sizes, including the more popular sizes in nylon and standard wood tips. Although my favorite sticks are Vic Firth, I’ve had many pairs of Pro-Marks and have been quite happy with them as well.
My personal stick of choice. Made for jazz and fusion, great feel, smaller diameter for great articulation. The barrel shape “pings” the ride softly when hit. Every hit is precise and dynamics are easy to achieve. They truly feel like extensions of your hands. The red stain can tend to put red smudges on the head…but it’s not that bad.
Vic Firth sticks are rugged. I’ve personally tried many different stick types and brands over 20 years of playing and I always seem to come back to Vic Firth. This 3 pack seems to be a good deal for a great stick. They offer a wide variety of sizes from the jazz drummer to hard rock drummer. Tip shape is great and gives good articulation and controls the sound when hitting cymbals and playing different dynamics. Drum sticks are a personal thing and need to be considered heavily. My advice is to try different styles in different lengths and weights to find the stick that suits you best.
