I look for common wear parts and accessories, drum sets, etc…basically anything drum related, study it, review it, and place it here under one website. Sometimes I have hands on experience with the equipment I review…sometimes I don’t–that’s when the opinion steps in. My main goal is to help inform drummers of all levels of the different drum gear that’s out there to help them make a better purchasing decision. I welcome all comments and extra input. That’s what this site is for, to help fellow drummers out. If you’ve used the equipment, your opinion is invaluable…shout out.

I don’t claim to know it all, and there is truly some opinion in my review style. I can tell you I’ve been playing drums and all manner of percussion for over 23 years, from Orchestra, to small jazz combos, to Blues/Rock bands, and have developed a love for the instrument and all of its nuances. Some of the different genres I’ve played and recorded in: Jazz, funk, fusion, latin, rock, blues, metal…I love it all, but my main love is Jazz. Sorry, for those of who may not like it…It’s just my thing.

My equipment: Pearl Session Custom Maples (Now a collector’s item ) 8″, 10″ 12″ 14″, snare, bass. Heads: Evans J1 etched on tops, Remo Ambassador clears on bottoms. Cymbals: Sabian Evolution series and other Sabian models, LP ice bell. Hardware: Pearl and DW mix with boom stands. All toms are mounted on the stands and off the bass. Bass pedal: DW9000 series.
